As a follow to my blog last week about turning your technology off I decided to try it.
Yesterday I did not look at any emails or crack my computer till about 3 o'clock. I couldn't wait any longer...it was pulling me. I thought I had heard my phone say..."gotta check your email..." but I could be wrong.
When I did open my email in my iPhone I was inundated with about 300. Lovely. I scrolled quickly through to see if there were any emergencies or urgent messages. Thankfully there was only two. A correction to Fred's blog and a client that needed to speak with me. I wasn't until this morning that I sifted through them (in addition another 175 or so) and responded appropriately.
Without the continual checking yesterday, I did feel calmer...till about 2:30 when the pull started to happen. Maybe I'll try it again.
Did anybody else try it? Will you?
