Did you ever wonder why we get certain cravings from one time or another? Sometimes we crave healthy food, other times its sweets and carbs. Sometimes we want the most expensive and lavish restaurants, other times it’s the comfort of a great diner or local pizza shop. What amazes me, is not what we crave, good or bad, but at some point, after eating it, we just don’t want any more for quite some time later. For me Sushi is one of those foods. If done right and sourced freshly, I can eat quite a bit and really enjoy it. Then I get to a point where I don’t think I can eat it again until a week or more later. Same for a great dessert. You get to a point where it’s just not appetizing.
So, is it hormonal, emotional, physical, psychological, or all the above? All I know is, I really enjoy eating and really hate dieting but know well when enough is enough. If you know me, when I go out to eat, if you ever see me sneezing repeatedly 5-8 times in a row, it’s likely an allergic reaction that just 10% of the population has. An allergy of eating too much that triggers a reaction of tearing eyes and uncontrollable sneezing. It’s real, you can look it up:
Snatiation reflex
Some people may sneeze after eating a large meal. This is known as the snatiation reflex, which is a combination of the words 'sneeze' and 'satiation. ' A person experiences this reflex when their stomach is full and becomes stretched.
