We are getting the grandchildren for Halloween this year. They are staying the weekend. Beth, who will be three in December, is going to be a ballerina. Little Noah, who will turn one tomorrow, will wear a cute little pumpkin costume.

It has been a long, long time since I have gone trick or treating with little ones. When my children were youngit was very easy and convenient in the city. Just a couple of floors in our apartment building netted enough candy to last for weeks. And we didn't even have to go outside.

This year we will be trick or treating in Greenwich, so it will be going door to door to houses, hit or miss.  Do we have to collect for UNICEF?  Do kids do that anymore?
