My work cohort and/or Assistant is Dana Zarro  (née Crohn).  We have been together since the early 1970s.  See photo above of us back in the day.  

We Lifers have lots in common. Not the least of which is that we are both Left handed and love dogs (although I came to that later than she). 

You may be familiar with Dana as Gotham's new member application coordinator, loyal blog commenter and sometimes Fredslist user.  

If you are Left handed and have attended one of Gotham's Lefty lunches you would never forget her bringing down the house as she read one of her Lefty poems to close the meeting. 

She is an intelligent, strong willed, caring, helpful independent woman who is not afraid to push back and assert herself and her opinions. 

I write this piece to express my appreciation and admiration for her, our history and most of her qualities. 

In a word she is a pip!  And I say pip pip hurray for Dana!
