Steph Curry has just won the NBA Finals MVP and a championship with the Warriors.  Curry was so close to becoming a Knick in the 2009 draft.  He was one pick away from changing the fortunes of my favorite team.  The Knicks have not was a championship since 1973.

In the last 50 years, The Knicks have had one game changing player chosen in the draft.  Patrick Ewing was their first draft pick in 1985.  He was the star player for more than a decade, but lost in the finals in 1994 and 1999.

Since then it has been bad draft pick after draft pick for the Knicks.  Curry has won four championships and looks like he could win more.  The Knicks will make their draft choice this week and hope springs eternal that lightning will strike and they will finally find another game changer.
