To some degree, most of us have responsibility for bringing in new business. It is one reason we come to a networking group – to expand our business referral sources (of course, in Gotham along with the strong sense of community inside our family).
I am curious to hear your thoughts and advice for “closing the deal”. We all do it differently and likely differently for different deals.
For me, I don’t like a hard sell. If I am closing a deal, I want to feel that I am meeting a client’s needs. And, I think that’s where my best “closing” comes from. When I’ve done my best listening to understand the client’s needs, my responses are usually more impactful.
