It was a whirlwind of a week. Sunday afternoon I had an appointment at the Apple Store in Roosevelt Field to determine if my iPad which failed to charge Friday could be repaired; I replaced it with a newer model. Sunday eve we attended a Theresa Foundation Comedy Fundraiser and Shelly won a raffle. Monday, setting up a meeting and photo shoot the next morning (Tuesday) with my client-candidate for Congress and my friend Sean who is key civic leader not only in his home Douglaston nabe, but the entire borough (We had co-founded the borough-wide Queens Civic Congress a quarter-century ago.).

Tuesday shoot

Tuesday afternoon, after getting some additional USB-C cables for the iPad at the Apple Store in Manhasset, we headed for a Knights of Pythias New York Grand Lodge Convention across the Hudson in Suffern (in Rockland Country) and dinner that eve with colleagues involved in Grand Lodge and the visiting Supreme Chancellor of our order (speaking in the below pic).

The convention took place Wednesday and the Installation and Dinner Thursday. Thursday eve, we picked up our daughter Marisa in Rego Park and headed home where I prepared my yard for an early morning “Congress” shoot including a labor client, Marisa, Shelly and our friend Shari.

Friday morning the shoot and then we head to Philly to see Sir Elton John at Citizens Bank Park where I saw first hand while fly balls turn into home runs there. Yesterday we spent hours at The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History and capped off the eve at the Philly Zoo where I made a new friend (see pic at left of the title).
