There are many things in our day that can disrupt our normal flow, make you late for certain obligations (like blogging) and events that will have a lasting effect....

I know some of you will remember the blogs I have done in the past which included words of wisdom from our wonderful companion, Musha.  Well, almost 2 weeks ago, Musha made it known that his wisdom was needed elsewhere.  We had to say goodbye to one of the best dogs I have ever had in my life (and I have had MANY).    

Musha's ability to love, forgive and give to so many people in our neighborhood made a lasting impression.  He was known as the "mascot of Baker Court" - literally holding court each afternoon, sitting in our front yard area, waiting for his beloved friends (neighbors) to come home and pay homage to him with a treat and a pet.  We have had such an outpouring of love from our close knit community that it almost makes his absence a bit more bearable.  

Contrary to the above, this post is NOT meant to be melancholy, rather, it is yet one more lesson he taught me that I want to pass on to you all...

NEVER EVER pass up a chance to show care and concern and yes, even love to your neighbors, friends and family.  And NEVER let go of your dreams (like your ball)...even when you have something that distracts you (like a neighbor who hasn't yet seen you). And when you have something to say, don't let anything (like a ball) stop you, but say it with a smile (or a wag of the tail) and with kindness!
