This afternoon I get to run another outing to a baseball stadium. It will be the second time. First was June 14 at Citi Field, Mets v. Yankees. This one involves their high Class A minor league teams, Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets) v. Hudson Renegades (Yankees). As Friday's blogger noted on Friday (of course), we arranged to throw out the first pitch. Several of today's attendees joined me at Citi Field. Though a smaller group, as with the larger group in June, the event supports two charities, the Gotham Foundation and the Kings-FDR Tolerance Foundation. Baseball and giving. Fun and benevolence. What can be better?
