We attended the Deep Water Literary Festival in Narrowsburg, NY, this past weekend. National Book Award-winning novelist Susan Choi[1] <applewebdata://7E5E50DE-4542-4EC3-A79B-103B2A838FA9#_ftn1> was on one of the panels. When asked about her writing process, she commented:
There are times when I know where I am and where I want to go, but the terrain between the two is uncertain.
We all have likely experienced this liminal space at some point, which may bring feelings of unease or disconnection during transitions.
Nearly all our cultural and spiritual traditions, however, recognize this as a time and space where everything is connected and exists in relation to everything else. It is a place where it’s possible to have increased awareness, contentment, and fulfillment of a longing, perhaps not yet understood, that carries us forward.
I have been helping people with such transitions for 20 years. For a no-obligation conversation about where you are and where you want to be, email me at rickraytmond at thefamilybusinessleader.com <mailto:rickraytmond at thefamilybusinessleader.com> to learn more.
