Subject: 2/19/19 Golf Committee meeting - follow up notes

Good morning and happy weekend to all.

Here are the notes from our Feb 19th meeting.

Please review, up-date and add any changes as required.

Attendees:
Anne Kleinman
Corey Bearak

Steve Scully
Brad Scherer (welcome to the committee Brad!)
Aimee White

All GC’s to promote the event at all meetings.

All Committee members to do the same and highlight success stories from previous golf events,  especially:

  *   Business written (for golfers and non-golfers).
  *   Great way to mingle, network and bring clients to impress.
  *   This event is half the cost of other golfing events.
  *   Great event, great people, great location and great fun to be had by all.


Date: June 24th
Save the Date:  Steve Scully to send.
Sponsors:  Corey to reach out to previous sponsors and new.  Club Quarters Mid-Point & Terrace Club to be approached for sponsorship etc.
Brochures: Will be the same format as last year with updated information, pricing plus pictures from the last year’s event.
Price:
Full Golfing event - $400.
Foursome (includes a Tee-Sign) - $1,600
Day at the Club with amenities - $275
Day at Club plus Golf Clinic  -$300   (will need a minimum of 10 people)
Cocktails & Dinner - $175
Tee-Sign - $175

Trophies: As last year and a proposal to be made for a new award to be made in honor of Jeff Crowther.
Door Prizes: Liz and Flo  - please confirm that you will continue in this role.
Goody Bags:  Matt and Steve to manage.
Golf Balls:  120 Sleeves needed, Brad to manage this – with suggestions from others as offered.
Tee Sign: Steve Krane and Aimee to manage.

Next Meetings: All at 4pm unless notified by Norman
April 11 - call in to number
May 8 - call in to number
June 12 – call in to number
JUNE 20th – MUST BE IN PERSON AT FRED’S OFFICE

Norman will be away March 2- April 2
