She was a high school dropout, but with an unbelievable determination to break her family\u2019s cycle of poverty via education achieved a 3.95 from John Jay at the age of 30!</div><div><br></div><div>She put together a broad support team and I was privileged to work with her, Pro Bono, for three years as an academic coach.
