(The caregiver lives and works in another state). The caregiver maintains that the order is illegitimate and relates to other unpaid debts owed by his ex-wife. Anyway, my friend is looking for NY counsel who can look into this and see if there is anything that can be done to reduce or set aside the garnishment (because he doesn't want to lose the caregiver).
