We had the winner of the 2020 Red Bandana Award, the most lovely, Lourdes Villanueva Hartrick (Realty Connect USA) Our famous pretzel purveyor for FANs, Jose Villa (Philly Pretzel Factory) was there too. ALL MEMBERS OF GOTHAM QUEENS! </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">BUT LET\u2019S TAWK GOTHAM HOLIDAY PARTY. 5 not-for-profits that support kids, critters and the planet we live on will be receiving donations thanks to Gail Koelln (GK Grant Writing), David Rubin, Jim Robinson (Jane M Meyers PC) Vincent Russo (Russo Law Group) and Paula Oleska (Natural Brain Systems) Paula, also performed as part of the Karaoke World Tour - seriously revealing a side of her many hadn\u2019t seen - Don\u2019t tell her Mama!</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Norman Spizz (SPN Music & Entertainment) outdid himself with this event. I wondered how could we possibly have a party on Zoom that would be anything like a real party. Norman made sure we had that and more. Plenty of schmoozing inside and out of breakout rooms.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Mitch Tobol (CGT Marketing) stepped up at the last minute to help us build our drinks for the evening since the mixologist was suddenly unavailable. Mitch is a man of many talents. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">BUT THERE WAS SOMETHING PECULIAR GOING ON! DID ANYONE NOTICE??? </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I thought I was going to have to call Raj Goel (Brainlink) to help with some cyber weirdness. Something that kept appearing in the squares \u2026 I kept adjusting my screen to no avail. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">More entertainment broke up the party banter. David Padrusch (LIMULUS MEDIA)zooming in from DC produced and performed a new theatrical performance of \u201cBlue Suede Shoes.\u201d Mark Eisemann, the "man with a thousand voices" direct from Las Vegas, sang and played guitar. We all did a \u201cfollow the magic highlighter" sing-a-long. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">BUT SOMETHING KEPT HAPPENING ON MY COMPUTER. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">I thought maybe it was from the snow storm? Maybe it was the Negroni? IT SEEMED TO land on each person at some point like when Raj called Fred the "beating heart" of Gotham and Nancy the "soul of Gotham who puts up with our shenanigans.\u201d </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">It happened as Alison Crowther talked about her son Wells Remy Crowther. It happened when Brad accepted his award and Dan his; the moment we mourned the loss of Gideon Schein and when we learned of Cindy Somma (Physicians First Reimbursement Services)being a kidney donor THERE WAS SOMETHING MOVING ACROSS MY SCREEN. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">DID ANYONE ELSE NOTICE? </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">It got even more clear to me as Divine Ms N \u2026 Nancy Schess (Klein Zelman Rothermel Jacobs and Schess) also part of the Karaoke World Tour, sang \u201cYesterday.\u201d THEN I FIGURED IT OUT \u2026 We\u2019ve been through quite a year - we\u2019ve longed for yesterday - for life as it was pre CoronaTimes. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Instead of crumbling like a cracker, Gotham doubled down - more events, helping and supporting each other in more ways than ever before. GOTHAM MAGIC \u201cIZ\u201d US. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">IT WAS GOTHAM MAGIC ON THE SCREEN - joy, gratitude and excitement. We didn\u2019t hide away! We continued on - touching lives and celebrating each other. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">GOTHAM MAGIC \u2026 the combined energy that creates all of the silver linings Fred reminds us to look for - the chance to do more, be more and have more. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">We shared stories, sang and laughed, and enjoyed each other.
