<p class="MsoNormal">As one of the founding members of the Gotham Giving idea and implementation, I am always in awe of the amazing serendipity that it brings and the legacy resulting from it.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Ten years after Gotham Giving was established and had taken on a life of its own thanks to Gotham members and Fred Kleins leadership, like Ruth Domber, I too was faced with some interesting challenges. The loss of my twin brother, a triple
amputee among 6 family members who were single or double amputees because of diabetes not long after my Moms passing. A fractured C-4 that resulted in living in a neck brace for 3 months in fear that it was caused by a cancerous tumor, and instability in
my work. By the grace of God, I too received $5000 for the American Diabetes Associaton. I never anticipated or expected that I would be a winner either. I just knew that it would be serendipity.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I donated the money in my T-bros name on behalf of Gotham. At a time I felt very helpless. This was something I could do thanks to Gotham. <o:p></o:p></p>
