<p class="MsoNormal">Today we had a great discussion on the new tax law that will affect everyone. Steve Goldstein from Grassi & Co. (our Group Chair) gave a wonderful overview on how the new law will not only impact the construction industry but also the
general corporate and individual world. His talk was enhanced but the diversity of our group – we had lawyers, other accountants (we are an open group), bankers and other industries represented. On top of that, because the law affects each type of corporation
differently, we had a C and S corps as well as LLCs. The discussion that ensued was very informative! If you were not there, the main take away is that this a major change and that everyone should be speaking with their accountant soon.
