[Fredslist] Connections for Nuclear/Chemical Engineer Graduating from UMD this Spring

Hi Gotham friends.

My son is an aspiring nuclear and chemical engineer graduating from the University of Maryland this spring.   He has had wonderful opportunities so far both on and off campus to explore his interests in renewable/clean energy and in particular, new technologies around nuclear power as a source of clean energy.   He is currently knee deep in job search for a position after graduation.

At this moment, he would be grateful to connect with anyone in the Engineering departments at the following companies.  These are all leaders in the nuclear market and he would look forward to the opportunity to learn more about the business:


  1.  Westinghouse Nuclear
  2.  Exelon Generation
  3.  GE Power (GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy)
  4.  NuScale Power

Of course, he would also be most appreciative of any thoughts or connections you might have that could share experiences and any pearls of job search wisdom around his interests.  He is open to any opportunities in the renewable/clean energy space where he could put his chemical/nuclear engineering skills to work.  He is happy to send along his resume.
