[Fredslist] Looking for lawyer for nonprofit Board

Fellow Gothamites,

 

I am Co-Director of a small nonprofit, One Earth Conservation, that currently has six Board members (two of whom are or were Gotham members!). We are currently seeking a lawyer with nonprofit experience for our Board who is passionate about wildlife conservation, the environment and helping marginalized people, particularly indigenous people. 

 

We work mostly in Latin America helping to save endangered and threatened wild parrots there by training and providing work to local people. We also do unique environmental programs here in the US, such as our Nurture Nature Program and our new Freedom Project.
