[Fredslist] Petitioning for name change in Nassau County - need answers

Is anyone familiar with Nassau County name change laws?
After a full day of circles yesterday between county clerk/social security
and supreme court I am nowhere closer to where I want to be.
Any legal pros around today for fast call or email? Thank you in advance.
