Gotham First’s David Schiffer, DLS Design, will be doing a Member Spotlight
you don't want to miss.  Here's a sneak preview:

*David Schiffer of DLS Design has been designing websites for over 20
years. Now, along with his team at DLS Design, he supports over 125
companies with the upkeep and maintenance of their websites, having
designed them as well. And we are growing, with lots of new design,
web-build and branding assignments coming in. *

*But once a website is finished, you’ve really just begun. On the backend,
there are myriad functions that have to be kept up to date, otherwise… your
website can easily get hacked! In a climate where computer viruses are
locking up the desktop machines of companies and individuals, websites are
a big target. Learn how we protect them and monitor them. *

*And learn what we recommend, and warn against, in marketing and promoting
your new website. David will weigh in on whether the rush to social media
and techniques like blogs and “content marketing” are worth the effort, and
if so, how to do them right.*
