This is a wonderful article in today’s Times. Those of you who have join the Gotham Bookclub know the great joy that can come from finishing a book you would not have necessarily read on your own. Several times I remember disliking a bookclub’s featured book but coming away from the discussion with the author having gained new knowledge and awareness.
