AN OPEN CALL FOR YOUR BIGGEST AND BOLDEST IDEAS:

Re-imagine one of the most iconic places in the nation: the New York State Pavilion.
You don’t have to be an architect or a designer to participate.
The international ideas competition -- co-sponsored by my office in partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation and People for the Pavilion -- is now open through July 1 to anyone over the age of 13 who is passionate about the Pavilion.
This fun, interactive campaign is – by design – an important part of the overall efforts to restore this national treasure into a visible icon befitting the "World's Borough" for generations of families and visitors to enjoy.
Visit www.NYSPideas.org <https://act.myngp.com/el/1910746815876038656/6251581222976225280> to learn more about the competition and the $5,000 in cash prizes that will be awarded to the biggest and boldest ideas.
We're offering the latest tools of virtual reality technology, time-tested community-based art practices and good ol' friendly competition to envision a boundless future for the "Tent of Tomorrow".
Check out the full schedule of interactive community events throughout Queens where you can submit your ideas in person.
