I must add my heartfelt thanks to Paul's. Gotham LI, run by Lisa snd Michael, is such a dynamic and generous group.

After the Mercy Business Honors students presented, they headed back to their Thursday afternoon Finance class, taught by the Dean of the Business School. He emailed me afterwards:

"You should have seen how Derek, Cami, and Rikki walked into class today. They were different people, and their professional confidence had doubled. I love to see moments like this. They glowed as if they had a religious experience. This made a huge impact today."

Thank you Gotham - for being so warm and encouraging to our business students! A number of Gothamites have also referred students to interview for our college business program or our summer Leadership Academy for high school juniors. Thank you for your confidence in us - we are thrilled to launch "gotham's kids" into successful business careers!

If you'd like to know more about the Business Honors program, I'm happy to discuss!

They were given a 20 minute oppurtunity (by the very adept Lisa Waterman and the very charasmatic Michael Garabaldi) to showcase themselves, a student run consulting business, and the Mercy Business Honors program. One of the students was my son Derek.

They truly want to help you in any way they can. They will support you and challenge you and push you towards success.” They thought about that, nodded and then began … with confidence.

The other special factor is that Luv Michael hires and utilizes volunteers from the autism community as workers. Workers with autism often have the skill set that make them excellent workers! With the extra push of the interns from Mercy, the business has grown and the granola is already sold in many stores including ten Starbucks in Queens as well as online.
