Thanks Janet for sharing this wonderful Gotham story! Such stories are what Gotham is all about...they happen everyday with Gothamites because we are Gothamites. Because we love to share. And because of the doors we open. And the possibilities we inspire. It's like spreading angel dust. But we call it Gotham dust. Or Gotham magic. From marriages to mergers & acquisitions to the Summer of Giving, new friends, clam bakes and so very much more, the success stories and happy stories abound that would have never happened without the opportunity that Gotham is. Gotham is  like a great big mother ship and, if you allow it, the journey can be fascinating.

 Dear Group, I had the pleasure of listening to my friend's band perform over the weekend, and as they are just 'that good', I mentioned to my friend about the annual Gotham Battle of the Bands at Cafe Wha?.  I suggested that perhaps they should submit an entry.  Well he was so excited about the thought of a possibility of performing at Cafe Wha?, that he couldn't stop hugging me.  It turns out that he has been going there for years, and it is one of his dreams to be able to play there. Isn't it a great feeling to be able to shine the light of Gotham on someone?
