[Fredslist] Seeking immediate information on Punta del Este and Montevideo, Uruguay... please read

We are contemplating going to Punta del Este for a week in early March followed by a few days in Montevideo, Uruguay.  

• Does any Gotham member have experiences in these places?
 • hat is there to see and do?
•  Is it worth the time and expense?
