[Fredslist] NY Graduate Student Needs Roommate

Gotham –

My wonderful niece (who is also the wonderful niece of Gotham Princeton’s Josh Zinder), is a graduate student at John Jay College of Criminal Justice on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

She wants to move out of her dorm and get a roommate for next semester.  Her plan is that they will get an apartment somewhere along the 1, A or C subway lines.  Obviously, for NY real estate purposes the potential roommate needs to be responsible and capable of having their finances screened by a landlord.

The problem is that to do this she needs to identify a potential roommate by November 6 – just a week away.  So… do you know of someone who is looking for a roommate for the Winter/Spring semester (and beyond), and of course, is a good person looking to get a new friend?

If so, please let me know and I’ll pass on your suggestions to her.
