Hope you are well.

As you are aware, I completed my three year tenure with Binder & Binder in late January 2014.

Please note that in early February 2014, I took on an Interim CFO role with Piedmont Hardware in Mooresville, North Carolina (right next to Lowe's headquarters northwest of Charlotte) directly related to the following:

The opportunity as originally envisioned was for a Group CFO role encompassing five former Newell Rubbermaid brands as acquired by Nova Capital.  However, these brands ended up being separated by Nova Capital into three $85M entities, each led by its own CEO and CFO.  I was offered one of the three Permanent CFO positions, actually the lead CFO role in terms of consolidations, reporting and treasury, but I declined since it wasn't for the larger $250M combined entity as originally planned.  As such, I finished up this Interim CFO assignment in early March 2014.

In late July 2014, Frontenac/Wenner hired a Permanent CFO with extensive experience in the frozen dough and partially baked food services industry, so my Interim CFO role came to a close in mid August 2014.

Based on the above, I'm currently in the midst of a new CFO job search.  I have a couple of opportunities currently identified including a technology oriented organization here on Long Island as well as a contingent workforce management solutions provider based in New York City.  That being said, these CFO searches tend to progress at their own pace, which is typically the case when identifying and subsequently progressing through the CFO sourcing process, so I remain active in my search efforts.

As such, I thought it would be best to reach out to you directly so that you would be aware of my current search for CFO opportunities.  Please let me know if you come across any open positions that would relate well to my background, interests and experiences.
