[Fredslist] Roll 'em: Gotham Film Festival deadline extended

Thanks to all those Tribe members who have helped us promote the Film Festival.  The response has been tremendous, but we've been asked by some folks if we could give them just a little more time.  So we're pleased to announce that the submission deadline has been changed to October 17 and the Festival itself will be held on November 19.

Two other changes:

§  Multiple entries from same filmmaker welcome:  $35 for first submission, $10 for additional

§  Films up to 30 minutes will now be accepted.

Need a venue to showcase your terrific very short (under 20 minutes) film?



The Gotham Film Festival® seeks original films, both scripted and documentary, for its fourth annual festival. Both professionals and aspiring filmmakers are invited to submit their films for consideration.



Categories:

·         Express: Up to 5 minutes in length, exclusive of titles and credits.

·         Local: Up to 30 minutes in length, exclusive of titles and credits.



Prizes:

·         Four $500 prizes awarded by the judges, plus one $250 prize awarded by audience vote.



Deadline:

·         October 17, 2014 - EXTENDED



Multiple Entries Welcome:

·         $35/first entry

·         $10/each additional

·         Fee waived for film students with valid ID



Showing:

·         Wednesday, November 19, 2014 - CHANGED

·         Friar's Club (57 East 55th Street, btw Madison and Park)
