[Fredslist] a shout out to Judy Mauer

Who would have imagined that by attending a Gotham luncheon a few weeks ago
I would end up with a piece of art?

Judy Mauer introduced herself and passed around her catalog of photographs.
I was instantly sold. I fell in love with her work! Within 48 hours my
husband and I found the perfect photo for a very important wall in our home
so I called Judy and ordered it.

What impressed me more than just the beauty of the photograph was her
"customer service." She was available by telephone throughout the weekend
as we discussed the picture, the size and a variety of other questions. And
then, yesterday, on Thanksgiving Day, she actually hand delivered the
magnificent work of art to our home. How lucky were we that her
Thanksgiving celebration was near our home.

When we got home last night from our great feast, my husband and I
proceeded to hang it on the wall. Now whenever I walk by I will not just
admire the gorgeous photography but I will remember the power of Gotham.
