2) Assemblymember Nily Rozic is recruiting applicants for the position of Community Liaison.

Responsibilities:
The Community Liaison serves as the Assemblymember's representative in the district. Duties include addressing constituent concerns; attending meetings, including community boards and civic associations to speak on behalf of the Assemblymember; responding to community issues; initiating outreach to an extensive network of community based organizations; maintaining a comprehensive database of constituent cases; and building strong relationships with community leaders. The Community Liaison works with constituents to address individual concerns by coordinating with government agencies, non-profit organizations, and community groups, and responding to constituent correspondence. The position will also entail work on special community and policy projects for the Assemblymember's office. 

Qualifications:
A college degree is required. The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, strong writing skills, and ability to work long hours and under pressure. The successful candidate will possess the ability to work in a collaborative, team environment. The applicant should be highly organized, thorough, demonstrate a committed, self-motivated work ethic, including the willingness to work long hours and weekends. The position in located in Queens.

Applicants with a background in social work and an interest in politics/government or campaign setting encouraged to apply. Applicants fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and/or Korean are strongly encouraged to apply.
