A good friend who is a graduate student in Boston needs advice with respect to trying to enforce a commitment made by a university when he decided to attend its graduate program based on receiving a two-year traineeship grant and a commitment to "seek and find support for you beyond two-years . . . via research and teaching assistantships or other fellowships." The two-year grant is coming to an end and to date the university, while recognizing the issue, has not found alternative support.

If you know anyone in the Boston area, a lawyer and education specialist, who could provide some advice and guidance in this area, I would appreciate your letting me know.

Many thanks.

Joan
