JZA+D seeks a motivated interior designer with 5-6 years of full-time office experience, must have at least a 4-year design degree in Interiors; a 5-year degree or Masters in Architecture is a plus.



*             Applicants should be able to work with standard computer production programs such as ACAD, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office

*             Responsibilities include sourcing and specifying decorative and construction materials including, but not limited to furniture, fabric, lighting, plumbing, and interior finishes as well as creating client presentations, budgets, finish schedules and spec pages

*             Strong design, drawing, sketching skills are a plus

*             Ability to effectively manage a project team, coordinate with consultants, and develop strong client relationships

*             Experienced space planning is important

*             Ideal applicant will be extremely self-motivated and have the ability to think and work on multiple projects at once

*             Excellent visual, verbal and written communication skills

*             Familiarity with sustainable design concepts and the LEED rating system

*             Responsible and dependable to meet deadlines

*             Registered Architect / Interior Designer a plus
