Alan and I are huge fans of the Theresa Foundation and the Theresa Academy of Performing Arts.

On Friday, May 2nd, the Theresa Foundation is celebrating its 20th Annual Theresa Awards Dinner at the Bridgeview Yacht Club in Island Park .

We are putting together tables of fabulous GOTAHAM attendees, where not only will we "do good", we will HAVE FUN!!!!!

Please join us and send me you check(s) for $130.00pp, made payable to THERESA FOUNDATION, which I will then send in for our Gotham tables!

So far, our table(s) include: Victoria Roberts Drogin,Paul Napolitano, Fred and Joanne Klein, Annamarie Bondi-Stoddard and husband, Debbie Linder (and husband) Rona & Phil Gura, Laura Scarr Konel &Michael and daughter Rachel.

Last year this event raised over $40,000 and was attended by over 200 supporters.

The Foundation will be  honoring John LaSpina of Maple Family Lanes and Michael J. Amoruso, Esq . for their commitment to the Special Needs Community.

Each year, the funds raised at the Theresa Awards Dinner allows them to provide grants in dance, art, music and recreation programs locally and around the country for children with special needs. Your donation also allows us them maintain THE THERESA ACADEMY OF PERFORMING ARTS {TAPA) and THERESA'S FUN PLACE : A PLAYGROUND AND PARK on the Roosevelt, Long Island Campus of United Cerebral Palsy.

We are asking for your help this year by placing an ad in the 2014 journal, purchasing raffles and/or attending our event. We are also collecting merchandise, services, baskets and gift certificates for raffle and silent auction prizes.

To give you a better idea of the organization and mission, I am attaching the 20th Annual Theresa Awards flyer.
