 Dear Warren,

  Ideally, we are seeking to meet Greenburgh residents who are
passionate about the positive aspects of our project who are also
willing to show up at Greenburgh Town Hall on Wednesday, March 26 and
vocalize their support in a 3 minute public comment portion of the
meeting.

 

We won the referendum in 2012 with overwhelming support, winning 68% of
the votes - more than a 2-1 margin, and record voter turnout.  Nearly
22,000 people voted in favor of the measure, and there are about 5-7
people trying to stop it, who have rallied about 50 of their neighbors
to show up to oppose it.  

*	We need to balance those voices with positive voices in favor of
the benefits.  Specifically, More recreation and high quality sports
instruction in Greenburgh, where there is a desperate need. 

*	Local permanent jobs, and local construction jobs 

*	Saving the Westchester Golf Range, which is much loved open
green space that has operated in that location for more than 70 years
and is otherwise in danger of closing to develop housing or some other
use. 

*	Taxes for the Town 

*	Profitable business that improves quality of life and recreation


*	Progress in Greenburgh which is not a very business friendly
town
