[Fredslist] For One of Our Own

I would like to see if there is any way that we can help a fellow Gothamite.  Our Gothamite is in a position where he needs to make a career change in the near future.

He is currently a principal in a start-up company that is struggling from lack of financial backing.  Unless things change in the next 30 days, he will need to close the company and find a way to support his family.

He is in his early 50's and has 30 years of experience in marketing, sales and advertising.  He has founded several companies and has been in the management of those and other companies for most of his career.  He is and has been on the board of several not-for-profits and has done volunteer work in his free time for many years.

Some of the fields in which he has extensive knowledge include:  energy conservation, building sustainability, lighting, web design and the advertising agency business.  Over the years he has developed many skills that can be useful to any number of companies.  He assures me that he is a quick study, very organized and has an extensive network of business contacts.  Also that he is mature enough to work on his own but can also fit nicely into a team situation.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts on how we can support someone who has been a contributor to Gotham for a number of years.  Thanks.
