[Fredslist] For those that know Brooklyn I need help

Hi All,
My stepson was just accepted to Downstate Medical School YEAH!!!
School starts August 4th and we need to find him someplace to live
relatively quickly.

He is thinking Prospect Heights (north), Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights but
certainly could use guidance and advice. It is important that he is easily
accessible to school via subway.  We may rent we may buy.

Please let me know if you know the area, have suggestions and if you know
of apartments to rent/buy in the areas.
