[Fredslist] seeking P/T administrative assistant

Hello Gotham,

I am in the market for a P/T administrative assistant for a late June start date. This position is approximately 15-20 hrs per week and offers a flexible schedule, M-F between 9-5, $12/hr. Students welcome.

Responsibilities:

*         General office work (filing, faxing, literature fulfillment, etc.)

*         Conduct internet research on potential clients' current accounting and management

*         Enter potential clients  and referral partners contact information in database

*         Create contacts in Outlook

*         Update data in database as needed

*         Schedule follow-up correspondence with potential clients for Director

*         Call potential clients to verify information on the organization's website

*         Mail literature to prospective clients

*         Make name badges for networking events


Skills:

*         Quick and accurate data entry skills

*         Strong attention to detail

*         Good time management

*         Ability to work independently

*         Interest in nonprofit management
