Multiple Choice Quiz - How Does One Get a Reservation at Rao's?


1.     Call Rao's on a daily basis for several months straight at all hours of the day and night and ask for a reservation.

2.     Ask Fred every time you see him to please take you to Rao's.

3.     Show up at Rao's and ask for a table.

4.     Spend several thousand dollars at a charity auction for a table at Rao's.

5.     Attend the Golf Outing and buy a raffle ticket - TOP PRIZE - Dinner for 4 at Rao's.

If you picked number 5 - you are CORRECT!  I tried numbers 1-4 for several years to no avail.  Your best shot is signing up for the outing, buying a ticket and crossing your fingers!

If you picked 1-4 - here is why you are wrong.


1.     Rao's does not answer the phone.  And, if they do and do not know you immediately, they hang up.

2.     Fred has to really, really, really, really like you.  For those of you who have been invited by Fred, please let us in on the secret.

3.     Rao's does not take kindly to people showing up uninvited.  You can sit for hours at the bar and never get a table.

4.     Why spend so much money when an inexpensive raffle ticket can get you there?
