[Fredslist] Being Nice

I've enjoyed reading the posts. A year ago, I rushed to the hospital when my husband suddenly was given a bad diagnosis. I was distraught but when I asked a smiling woman who was near the emergency room a question, she helped me locate my husband and later, invited me into her office to calm down and to drink a cup of tea. Later on, she made a copy of his test results and scans so I could easily send them to a second MD.

She was both outstanding AND kind, a good double whammy and I wrote a glowing letter to her boss. We have become casual friends and seen each other twice. Her kindness meant everything to me.

Regards,
