Large, international banking firm, headquartered in NYC, is seeking a Sr. Benefits Analyst.

Location: New York City, New York
Company size : 1000 + employees
Salary range: $80k to $90k
Requires a bachelor's degree and 4-8 years of employee benefits experience.

Position summary:
To research, analyze, evaluate, and administer corporate welfare and retirement benefit plans and programs. Monitors
benefit trends in the business environment and must stay abreast of applicable benefits legislation. Familiar with a variety
of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected. Will report to the VP of Benefits

Together with the Manager of Benefits responsible for the design, administration and communication of company welfare
and retirement programs, including wellness programs, to ensure that health and welfare benefit plans meet quality, cost
and employee satisfaction objectives. Establish policies and procedures relating to all employee benefit programs and
assure legal compliance for all plans.
*Analyze benefits "best practices" and trends to assure that all benefit programs are competitive and monitor company plans
in order to identify areas for improvement. Research possible solutions and make recommendations to Manager of
Benefits for all changes and/or enhancements to the existing benefits program.
*Develop, implement and maintain a benefits communication and education program and plan to enhance employee
understanding of all benefit programs. Partner with Director of HR and Manager of Benefits to initiate benefits
education and orientation sessions; and maintain the accuracy of benefits information on company website.
'`Administer the pension plan, 401(k) plan, benefits programs, including medical, wellness, dental, life and disability
insurance, flexible spending. Maintain benefits records. Ensure the accurate and timely payment of monthly vendor bills,
and the preparation of benefits related reports. Develop analyses of statistical and census data for insurance carriers,
vendors and senior management.
*Help monitor overall benefits costs and assure competitive pricing for all benefits program components. Participate in the '!
periodic solicitation of input from benefits vendors/providers and provide guidance to HR leadership regarding
vendor/provider selection. Act as a key liaison to benefit vendors
*Counsels employees regarding retirement planning options, non-routine benefits coverage questions and exceptional
needs. Manage annual open enrollment process, report and evaluate.
