Dear Tony,

In this economy, where job requirements are tied to experience in only a 
single narrow sub-industry niche, I am trying something a little out of 
the norm in my quest for employment.

Please read on (it will be only an additional 200 or so words).

After 20+ years in business I have recently sold my consulting firm.  My 
agreement forbids me from soliciting my extant client base.  As such, I 
am trying this unique approach.

Being a key player of any team is about providing value, team building 
and solving problems to affect the stratagems that move a company forward.

Value can be defined as leadership, creating a vision and communicating 
the same to all stakeholders, whether they are a company’s customers, 
vendors or employees.

Value is about critical thinking and problem solving.And in business, 
that means how are we are able to increase revenues, whether it is done 
directly or by innovative indirect methodologies.

I (and the management teams I've been a member of; for all change in the 
end are group efforts) enable companies to expand their operational, 
administrative, accounting, supply chain and IT systems. We assist in 
growing sales, which depends on planning, alignment and the execution of 
those plans.

With alignment; the team is working for the same goals; for if just one 
department is successful; then in essence, all departments have succeeded.
