[Fredslist] Join me at a night of enjoyable rock with Gotham BOTB winner OFF the Record

For a long time I wanted to enjoy a weekend night where I can take in the sound of Gotham Battle of the Bands winner, OFF the Record ("OTR").
Its drummer is my Hofstra Law classmate and friend, and more important to the tribe, first from outside the tribe member of Gotham's Brooklyn Power Breakfast Group which Peter Kettle and I co-founded.

That time has come.  OTR plays tomorrow eve, this Saturday night (Oct.5), 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. at KJ Farrells, 242 Pettit Ave, Bellmore, New York 11710.

Here's how Curt describes what we might expect:

"we will play the best classic rock/upbeat blues/funk and danceable songs from the Beatles, Stones, Motown, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, SRV, The Animals, CCR, Petty, Clapton, etc. Dancing, foot tapping, head bobbing, air drumming and even chair dancing is encouraged! (Please...no twerking!) KJ FARRELLS has good food, plentiful free parking, and is located right at the Bellmore LIRR station. Come early, have dinner or drinks, and please join us for a wonderful early evening of Fun, Friends and Great Music! We start at 7 and play to 9:30."
