[Fredslist] I JUST HAVE TO SHARE MY JOY

To those Gothamites who were kind enough to weigh in and offer suggestions  
on how to choose a toilet, a mystifying, daunting but nevertheless  
thrilling experience at best, I am overjoyed to tell you that our new  bathroom is 
finished and we are the proud owners of a new baby Toto. (No gifts  
necessary, a donation to your favorite charity would be fine) As toilets go, it  is 
a sure winner, and best of all, the seat doesn't slam down. It has it's own  
tempo. Be still my heart. 
 
With that project finished and our next project underway, (creating a new  
TV viewing space in our otherwise unused, heretofore untouched and un  
lived-in formal living room ), I am now in the process of identifying the best  
qualified, most patient, most flexible occupational therapist in the city or 
its  surrounding boroughs and neighbor states. It would be great if said 
person was  willing to come to our home on the UES a couple of times a week, 
and is hooked  up officially with Medicare. The patient, my husband of 
hundreds  of fun-filled years, needs someone to re-teach him many basic skills,  
skills which the stroke has cruelly stolen.
