Hi Tribe:

Last week I requested some guidance regarding compensation for free lance writing.  I was approached by a large franchise organization who asked me to write for them.  While I like to write, I've never been paid to do so and thus had no idea what to charge and/or negotiate.

Thanks to your help, I can now say I am a paid free lance writer... at rates 3x their ask no less based on a samples of my writing.
