Gotham Magic - I asked and this is what I was told - GREAT RESPONSE  - Thanks to all who responded
-  so If ever you are looking for a suggestion -here they are:

1. I just took my brothers and sisters, kids,etc..to BB Kings for the Harlem gospel choir brunch for my moms 76th birthday---soul food lunch---food was decent but it was a fun and entertaining time----plenty of time to chat and enjoy some music--

BB kings also does a brunch with the Beatles cover band, strawberry fields--have not been to that one--

10. 8 1/2 (located in the building at 9 West 57th) street is wonderful!  And the window shopping on Fifth Avenue is to die for.

11.  I like the Garage in the village. it's on Christopher St and 7th ave south. it's not fancy but it is different. They have live jazz and it is a typical Village type place. Brunch is nice and reasonably priced.  it's a fun place. Not gourmet.

12. Are you serious?? It's Carnegie Deli!!!
There is simply no other choice for out-of-towners.

13. Telepan was recently named best brunch on the Upper West Side. And in 2014, they were awarded a Michelin Star.  I have been there for dinner, and the food is excellent.
