[Fredslist] Brother Dan speaks in G. Neck

Dear Gothamites,





Dan Raviv, CBS correspondent and Author, will be speaking about the Middle East situation this Sunday morning, the 8th, at Temple Beth El in Great Neck.  Breakfast-bagels and lox at 9, Talk scheduled at 10. 


The event marks the 5th anniversary of my Dad's passing.  He fought in the Palmach -an elite unit -of the Israeli Army.  Our family is funding and announcing (I will be talking very briefly about my Dad)  an essay competition for the youngsters at the Temple--Why Israel's Survival is Crucial.



The Men's Club is asking for $10 for breakfast, and $5 for lecture.  


Please tell anyone who is a Middle East/Israel junkie or a Dan Raviv fan.  He will be signing books, too.
