A friend's son is looking for a new roommate as his current roommate has moved to another state to take a job.   I hear it is a great apartment located on 13th Street between Avenues A & B in Manhattan.  It is a 4th floor walk-up but the building has been nicely renovated.  It has 2 bedrooms, 2 marble baths, a nice kitchen and a large living room.  The bedrooms are located at the opposite ends of the apartment, so each tenant has privacy.  The neighborhood is hopping with lots of bars and restaurants.  The new lease starts November 1st.  A new tenant would also have to sign the new lease.  As of November 1, the rent will be $3,950 ($1,975 per tenant) plus electric, cable and intertnet access to be divided equally.  It's possible that the new tenant might be able to move in prior to 11/1.
