PR Internship A. Lavin Communications -- Fall Semester (Port Washington)

A. Lavin Communications is a boutique PR firm with a savvy NYC approach and
energy to generating publicity and servicing our very diverse and growing
client base. We're seeking two highly motivated, intelligent and energetic
publicity interns to help us with a slew of new clients in healthcare,
non-profit and technology PR.


If you're the right candidate, you have had some PR coursework and a PR
internship. You are reliable, committed, detail-oriented and want to build
your publicity portfolio. You won't be serving coffee in this job which
requires you to implement real world writing, pitching and creative skills
on a daily basis. Competent grammar and writing ability required. This full
time internship could turn into full time employment.  Our last intern just
nailed a great job at a top NY PR firm.

Hi Jeff:

Wanted to let you know that Adriana Perisa just got a full time job at
Atomic PR.  She's been an intern here for nearly 8 months.  Very capable and
disappointed to see her go.

But that opens the door for another fabulous student of your.  Ideally, I'd
like a recommendation for a rising junior to help out a few days a week at
my firm.  The student will have maybe had one PR internship, but is a solid
writer and wants to make PR a career.  Basically, my interns function like
JR. AE's so there's pitching, writing, list management and account
coordination involved.

Know anyone good?  Send them along.  I'm willing to also consider May grads
looking for work as it can turn into a full time job.
