What's said and done in the meeting stays in the meeting.  So unless you were with us you will never know the secret the South Shore Group has. 

But I'm happy to say that as of yesterday our displaced South Shore Member have been allowed back into their homes even if with limited basic services.

Our discussions about our experiences were lively,  cathartic, but mostly of genuine thankfulness and appreciation not only for their lives, their health,  and the ability to rebuild,  but for Gotham opening their hearts,  giving of their time,  their homes, and their expertise. 

Big shouts went to Jason Greenberg and Paul Napolitano.

Our Guest from Astoria Bank in Merrick let us know that Astoria Bank is investing in a matching program for Sandy. 

I, as a member of Synergy Fitness is inviting Gotham Members to join me at no cost to a thanksgiving fundraiser they are holding Thanksgiving Morning from 9:00am-10:30 for Zumba. Majority of participants are our age.  We ask that you bring a donation for cleaning supplies, baby items especially disposable, disposable feminine and bathroom items etc.

South Shore member say Thank you on the eve of Thanksgiving. We have just started the rebuild process that will takes us through the winter months and your support will be invaluable. Happy Holiday.
