Are you looking for a fun evening or afternoon. Then come to Cardinal Hayes High School for West Side Story. Shows are on Friday March 30th at 8 PM, Saturday March 31st at 8 PM, and Sunday April 1st at 2 PM. It's time you enjoyed this classic musical again. Staged, and directed by professionals, in a theatre that would make Broadway proud and perfect for a 1950 era musical. See the Jets take on the Sharks. Watch Tony and Maria fall in love. All this for $10.
 
The school built in 1941 is at 153rd Street and Grand Concourse. A 5 minute walk north from 149th Street (2,4,5 trains) or a ten minute walk south from Yankee Stadium, 161st Street (B,D,4 trains).  Make an evening of it. Eat in the city and take the train to the play. Or eat locally at Giovanni's, a great Italian restaurant, or try the Hard Rock Cafe or NYY Steaks at Yankee stadium or any of a number of local restaurants.
 
I promise you will have a good time and see a part of the city you would not normally see. Would you believe this school is built down the side of a cliff. And if you can't believe a member of the MAD Group or the semi-official scorekeeper for the Batmen, who can you believe.
